Low-Voltage Electrician

Low-Voltage Wiring Services For Commercial & Industrial Properties

Low-voltage electrical components and applications can be found in just about every commercial and industrial setting. While larger appliances and industrial machinery may require high-voltage current, things like thermostats, telephones, security systems, smart devices, different types of lighting, and a wide range of sensors and controls are all low-voltage systems.

Suncoast Power is available for commercial wiring projects of any size, from small offices to large industrial facilities and everything in between. Contact us today to speak with a low-voltage electrician about your project.

What Is Low-Voltage Wiring?

Low-voltage wires are ones that can carry up to 50 volts of electricity. Typically, the voltages will be 12V, 24V or 48V.  For comparison, the typical wall outlet carries either 120 or 240 volts, so these wires pose a smaller risk for severe shock and other injuries.

Demarc Extension Services

Demarcation extensions, more commonly called demarc extensions, connect your business’s network to a data line, such as a DSL, the telephone company provides. The demarc point is where the telephone company ends its circuit and turns it over to you to connect your network to that demarc point. Demarc cabling must reach a data distribution system to integrate with your network.

Our low-voltage electricians have experience installing demarc extensions in various properties, including residence buildings, office hi-rises, industrial warehouses, and more.

WiFi Network Installation

Suncoast Power can design, install, maintain, and repair wireless networks for residential and commercial properties. Although most businesses and corporations benefit from wired network connections for reliability and security, Wi-Fi capabilities continue to advance, offering users faster network speeds and more stable connections.

We can install Wi-Fi routers, access points, and other equipment to provide wireless internet access to everyone in your building.

Network Wiring Testing

You may benefit from network wiring testing services if you struggle with slow connection speeds at your property. Network wiring testing prevents issues with a building’s network by identifying and remedying potential wiring issues. For example, a local area network may provide better speeds and more efficient work completion with upgraded cabling.

Our team can test your network wiring, whether installed recently or the building has had it for years. We can test copper and fiber networks to ensure that your commercial property has the network connectivity necessary for efficient operation.
